The Elk River Walking Club kicked off the new year with a special New Year’s Day Walk in Clendenin. Don’t let a little cold or wet weather keep you indoors. Dress in layers and come join the fun--and get healthier at the same time! There’s no such thing as too cold - just the wrong clothes.

Heart Day will be on Valentine’s Day and the club is inviting everyone to celebrate and walk with them on Tuesday, February 13. Heart health is important to all of us and walking is one way to get started. Join the Elk River Walking Club every Tuesday at 4 PM at the upper end of Clendenin at the water plant trail entrance. Walk at your own pace, as much or as little as you want.  All ages and skill levels are welcome!
