Their commitment to conservation and outdoor access ensures that our communities—and future generations—can continue to enjoy the wild, scenic, and restorative landscapes that make the Elk River corridor so special.

This acquisition not only safeguards critical forested land and water quality, but also opens the door for expanded recreation opportunities along the Elk River Trail. We are excited to work alongside WVLT as planning begins for responsible public access and new outdoor experiences that benefit everyone who loves this region.
