Directions From I-79
From I-79 exit 9 (Elkview): Head south on Frame Rd (Right hand turn from South, Left hand turn from North) Follow for 1.2 miles and turn left onto US-119 N/Elk River Rd. Continue for 1.4 miles and turn right onto Blue Creek Rd. Turn left onto Patch Dr in about 138 feet. Follow to boat launch in about 470ft.

Access to river: easy. Fenced access site. Designed for trailered boat launch of shallow water vessels. Access has lighting. Entry, parking and ramp are paved. Fenced access site. Automatic gate restricts entry after closing but allows exit at any time. Hours of operation have not been posted.
